COVID SAFETY

At Prison Island the safety and welfare of both staff and customers is our highest priority. To prepare for reopening after the 1st Lockdown we introduced a range of Health & Safety measures in line with government guidelines to reduce the risk associated with COVID-19. We continually review these measures ensuring we are always following the most recent advice.

We are proud to display ‘We’re Good To Go’ signs giving customers confidence that we adhere to Government and public health guidance.

Some of the measures we have introduced include:

  • REDUCED CAPAICTY
  • HYGIENE SCREENS INSTALLED
  • SEPARATE ENTRANCE & EXIT
  • ONE WAY SYSTEM IN THE CHALLENGE CELL AREA
  • ENHANCED CLEANING REGIME
  • SANITISING STATIONS
  • RECONFIGURED CAFÉ SEATING AREA (REDUCED CAPACITY)

Our ventilation is good, with ceiling reaching up to 9 metres. We also have fans that draw in fresh air / expel air.

At Prison Island you ALWAYS take part in small teams of 2 to 4 players no matter what your group size is (Families of 5 with younger children can continue to play as one team) You socially distance from other teams on arrival and throughout your activity. Once you enter a cell no other teams can enter until your team leaves to select your next challenge cell.

WEAR A FACE COVERING – They don’t interfere with fun! (under 13’s or those with a reasonable excuse do not have to wear one, See NI Direct website for details) You do not need a face covering when seated to eat or drink in our café. Masks are available to purchase on site.

We have sanitizing stations throughout and kindly ask you sanitize your hands regularly.

All members of staff have received COVID Safe training and have their temperatures checked before their shift.

Please note that if you, or anyone in your household, are displaying any of the symptoms associated with Covid-19, we politely ask you not to visit
