About Prison Island
What is the minimum age for Prison Island?
Prison Island is suitable for ages 6 and up, with challenges involving physical skills, problem-solving and teamwork.
Children aged 9 and over can play without an adult in their team, while children aged 6–8 must have a paying adult playing alongside them.
All players under 16 must have an adult remain on site throughout their visit.
Can I bring a child under 9 to Prison Island?
Children aged 6–8 can take part in Prison Island, provided they have a paying adult playing alongside them in their team.
However, we generally recommend Prison Island for ages 9 and over. Some younger children can find the environment intimidating or scary, and many of the challenges may be too difficult for them to enjoy fully.
We recommend considering your child’s confidence and ability before booking, as Prison Island may not be suitable for all younger children.
What is Prison Island?
Prison Island is an interactive team challenge experience in Belfast, featuring 31 unique cells that test your physical skills, problem-solving and teamwork.
Think escape rooms meets The Crystal Maze! Each cell presents a different challenge, and your team works together to complete it and earn points.
With three difficulty levels to unlock, there’s always a new challenge waiting. Work your way through the cells, beat your scores and see how far your team can go!
How does the game work?
Your team will receive an electronic game tag before entering Prison Island, where 31 challenge cells are waiting to be explored!
Each cell has a different challenge testing your physical skills, problem-solving or teamwork. Scan your game tag to enter, work together to complete the challenge and earn as many points as possible before the time runs out.
Everyone starts on Level 1. Complete all the Level 1 challenges to unlock Level 2, then complete Level 2 to unlock Level 3. As you progress, the challenges get tougher!
Explore the cells in any order, revisit your favourites and compete for the highest score.
How long is a typical session?
Our most popular session is 1.5 hours, during which players can expect to complete around 25 of our 31 challenge cells.
With three difficulty levels to unlock, there’s plenty more to discover! If you want to progress through more levels, take on tougher challenges and improve your scores, we recommend booking 2–2.5 hours.
Can I come alone, or do I need a group?
Prison Island is a team activity, so you’ll need at least 2 players to take part.
Teams can have 2–5 players, although we recommend 3–4 players for the best experience. Couples are absolutely welcome too!
Bringing a larger group? No problem! You can split into multiple teams and compete against each other for the highest score.
Is Prison Island suitable for team-building events or parties?
Absolutely! Prison Island is perfect for corporate team-building events, birthday parties, hen and stag parties, school groups and celebrations.
With 31 challenge cells testing teamwork, communication, problem-solving and physical skills, there’s something for everyone!
We can accommodate groups of up to 100 players, splitting everyone into smaller teams to compete for the highest score.

Booking
How many people do you recommend in a team?
We recommend teams of 3-4 for the best experience. But couples are welcome!
Do I have to make a reservation?
We recommend booking Prison Island in advance, especially for weekends and school holidays when sessions can fill up quickly.
Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability, but booking ahead is the best way to guarantee your preferred date and time.
How long should I book for Prison Island?
We recommend 1.5 hours for the best Prison Island experience. With 31 challenge cells to explore and three levels of difficulty to unlock, there’s plenty to keep you busy!
A 1.5-hour session gives you time to tackle around 21–25 cells, but if you want to unlock more levels, beat your previous scores and take on tougher challenges, we’d recommend booking 2 or 2.5 hours.

We understand plans can change! Whilst all bookings are non-refundable, you can reschedule your visit up to 72 hours before your activity date.
If you’re within 72 hours of your booking, we can transfer the value to credit valid for 24 months.

About Axe Yard
What is Axe Yard?
Axe Yard is our interactive axe throwing experience in Belfast, featuring five throwing lanes and 15 digital games. Rather than throwing at the same target for an hour, our interactive targets give you different games and challenges to compete in. Every session starts with training from a dedicated axe coach, who’ll get you throwing safely and confidently before you tackle the games!
How does Axe Yard work?

Do I need any axe throwing experience?
Not at all! Most people who visit Axe Yard have never thrown an axe before. Your dedicated axe coach will show you the technique, take you through the safety rules and help you get comfortable before the games begin.
Thrown axes before? Great — we’ll still take you through our safety briefing and house rules, then you can get straight into the action and start sinking steel.
