Prison Island World Cup 2026: Belfast, You’re Up!

Prison Island World Cup 2026: Belfast, You’re Up!

The try-outs are done. The scores are in. Now things get interesting.

On Sunday 18 October, the Prison Island World Cup 2026 Country Final is taking over Prison Island Belfast, and there’s a trip to the Netherlands on the line.

Teams of three have spent the past few weeks putting their teamwork, quick thinking and questionable decision-making to the test.

Some smashed it. Some probably aren’t speaking to each other.

But the qualifiers are in. And now there’s just one question.

Who’s heading to the World Final?

THREE PLAYERS. 31 CELLS. TWO TEAMS HEADING TO THE WORLD FINAL.

It’s not your average Sunday afternoon in Belfast.

Our qualifying teams will go head-to-head across 31 challenge cells, tackling a mix of physical, mental and skill-based challenges in a race to rack up the highest score.

Some demand speed. Some demand strategy. Others demand that one teammate finally listens to the other two.

And that’s the beauty of Prison Island. You don’t need to be the strongest, quickest or cleverest person in the room. You need three people who can work together when the pressure’s on.

Every point matters. Every decision counts.

And the two teams that come out on top? They’re going international.

FROM BELFAST TO THE NETHERLANDS

The top two teams will earn their places at the Prison Island World Cup Final in Enschede, the Netherlands, on 21 November 2026.

There, they’ll represent Belfast against qualifying teams from across the Prison Island world, all battling for the ultimate title.

And to help get them there, the Country Final winners will receive up to €400 per person towards travel and accommodation.

Not a bad next stop for six people who decided to give it a go.

BUT THERE’S A TWIST…

Just when our finalists thought they knew what to expect, we’ve gone and changed the game.

Introducing Prison Island Levels.

Our brand-new Levels system launches just days before the Country Final, bringing fresh challenges, new scoring opportunities and even more reasons to rethink your strategy.

The qualifying teams have already proved what they can do across our 31 cells.

But can they unlock Levels 2 and 3 while keeping their place at the top of the leaderboard?

One thing’s for sure. The competition just got a whole lot more interesting.

BELFAST, LET’S DO THIS AGAIN!

Last year, our Belfast teams made us seriously proud, finishing 7th and 10th in the world at the Prison Island World Cup.

Not bad going for our wee corner of the world!

Now it’s time to see what 2026 has in store.

On Sunday 18 October, two teams will earn their places at the World Final in Enschede, the Netherlands, where they’ll take on some of the best Prison Island players from around the globe.

Can Belfast climb even higher up the leaderboard this year? Could we bring the World Cup title home?

We wouldn’t put it past them.

To every team competing in our Country Final, we wish you the very best of luck. Give it everything, enjoy every second and make us proud!

Two teams. One city. The world stage awaits.

Belfast, let’s show them what we’re made of!
