WHAT DOES A MATCH OF QUIZ BOXING CONSIST OF?

Face your opponents in an exciting atmosphere with decor worthy of a TV set! Each player has a podium allowing them to select their answers to the many different questions, spanning over 60 minutes. Numerous jokers are available to win points by trickery. Each team is autonomous, with the moderator and referee being virtual.

Is there anywhere to leave our belongings?

Yes, we have lockers suitable for small bags, jackets & valuables which are free to use. At busy times there may not be enough lockers available and we kindly request that you share these between members of your team.

Do you have a Café?

Yes, we have a selection of hot & cold drinks with delicious French Village traybakes and snacks. We also have Pizza’s and Carolyn Stewarts famous Prison Patties to enjoy whilst you chat about what a great team you are!

What time should we arrive?

The Boucher Road area may be busy depending on the day / time you book so please allow extra journey time. We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time to register your team name and store your belongings. Please complete your team name request in advance. What should I wear?

For the 31 Prison Challenges we recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Ideally something that allows for freedom of movement. High heels & flip flops are not allowed and we recommended toes are covered. For Axe Throwing its the same as above. You cannot throw with open toed shoes or in heels. For […]

Will my team be the only ones playing in each Prison Challenge Room?

Yes, teams will identify available cells with a green light outside the room. Once your team enters the light will go red and no other team can enter whilst you attempt the challenge. You will of course see other teams in the corridors or waiting area, some of whom may be your competition!

Can anyone participate?

Almost anyone can enjoy our challenge cells Languages: All of the challenge instructions & clues are in English. Is there an age restriction for the Prison Island Challenges?

Yes, we recommend a minimum age of 9 for teams that will play without an adult. For Family teams you can of course bring younger children who you can provide assistance to. What if another team is in the game I want to play?

If a cell is in use you will see a red notification light outside. Once the cell is available again the light will turn green allowing you to enter. There are always more cells available to play than teams playing.

How long does each challenge take?

It will take between 2-5 minutes depending on the cell. You a free to retry the same challenge as many times as you wish in order to achieve your highest score. The games in the cells are great fun and we know you will play many more than once!
